Change check
Terms of sale and refunds.
The terms for buying a change report from the change check. They sit beside the general terms of use of this site.
What you buy
A change report is the full view of the change check for one analyser change: one old and one new system, with every analyte in the file you drop. It adds, to the free view, every analyte together, each crossing set beside what repeat testing alone would cause, the old-by-new category matrix, the average difference and limits of agreement, the share inside your acceptance limit, the crossed-sample list saved to your computer, and a printable report. It is sold by NakedSignal. It does not include bootstrap intervals, a re-test band, a clinician summary or our review; those are part of the full site report, which is quoted separately.
Price and payment
US$490 per change report, plus any sales tax or VAT that applies where you are, shown before you pay. Payment is by card on a payment page run by Stripe; we never see your card details. Stripe sends the receipt. Stripe takes the payment for CareerLoop Inc., the company behind NakedSignal, so that name appears on the payment page, the receipt and your card statement.
Delivery
The change report unlocks in the browser you paid from as soon as the payment is confirmed, and stays unlocked there for 30 days. Because the report is computed on your computer from your file, we never hold a copy of it: save or print the report before you close the page.
Refunds
Full refund on request within 14 days of payment, for any reason. After that, a full refund if the change report could not be produced for your file because of a fault on our side. To ask, use the contact form and quote the receipt number from Stripe; never send us the file. Refunds go back to the card that paid, through Stripe.
Your data
Your file is read and computed in your browser and is not uploaded. The page sends only the payment reference, to confirm the payment, and, if you choose to contribute, the derived summary you see before sending, to the Analyser-Change Registry under its terms. Contributing is never a condition of the purchase. Use your own pair IDs, never a patient identifier or name. More in the privacy notice.
A summary you contribute is held under the Registry’s terms: your laboratory gives us a licence to use it to build methods, software and models, which we own and may license; we never sell or license the summary itself as data and never try to identify anyone. That licence, and the summary, pass to a new owner if our company is sold, as set out under governing law below.
Intended use
The change report is laboratory-management software for laboratory professionals, described on the change check page. It is not for the diagnosis, monitoring or treatment of any person, does not change or re-report any result, and is not for any time-critical decision. It describes the pairs supplied; it is not an ISO 15189 verification and not a device approval.
Warranty and liability
We will refund you as set out above if the change report does not work for your file. Beyond that, the check is provided as is, and to the extent the law allows, our total liability for a change report is limited to the price you paid for it, and we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, as are the site’s terms of use. We may update these terms; a purchase is governed by the version shown when you paid.
If we are bought by or merged with another company, or sell the business these terms relate to, we may transfer these terms, every licence under them and any contributed summary to the new owner without your further consent, provided the new owner agrees in writing to be bound by them and by the Registry’s terms. Your rights under them, including the refund, stay the same.
