How to read the results, samples and services described on this site.
Data on this site
Results on this site are computed from open-access, published method-comparison data, cited on each page and listed on the public data page. The studies play the part of laboratories; no customer, partner or laboratory data appears on this site. Where repeat-test imprecision was not published with a study, a default value is assumed and the page says so.
Samples
Items marked Sample, including the CD4 sample report, are built from public data to show what a report contains. They were not commissioned or reviewed by a laboratory, and instruments are described generically.
Services
Services described on this site, such as the analyser-change report, network comparisons, conversion analyses for diagnostics makers and pre-specified checks on trial data, are delivered under a written agreement that sets their scope. Descriptions here are a summary, not a contract.
Standards
The report uses the vocabulary of ISO 15189:2022 and CLSI EP09 and supports a laboratory's own verification work. It does not replace that work, and it is not a certification, accreditation, device approval or regulatory clearance. Checks described on this site were fixed and run by NakedSignal.
Not medical advice
Nothing on this site is advice about an individual patient. Clinical decisions remain with the laboratory and the treating clinician. See also the terms of use.
